Marble Kitchen Counters Being Installed Today!

Update from our contractor just now! They did a beautiful job!!!!

He stated, “Some of the nicest fabrication/installation I’ve ever had on a project! They don’t always “waterfall” the grain on the backsplash to the tops. It’s the sign of good craftsmanship, and they did a superb job!”

I made photos from the video too!

The dishwasher will be to the left of the sink:

The liquid propane gas stove will be inserted here:

The dishwasher will be installed to the left of the sink:

Our dishwasher has already been purchased and will be delivered after the flooring in the kitchen is done!

The finish is still pending on the exterior side of the island:

The liquid propane gas stove will be inserted in the opening to the right. The gas line is already piped in for hook up:

Our stove and range top microwave have been purchased and will be delivered once the flooring in the kitchen has been installed:

Our fridge has also been purchased and will be delivered when the kitchen flooring has been installed. It will be to the right of the stove!

The company did an amazing job on creating the “waterfall” effect of the grain between the backsplash and countertops!

Blog from Earlier Today: Our marble kitchen countertops arrived today and are also being installed today! Our contractor texted that they are beautiful! Can’t wait to see them!

I can’t help but mention that our driveway now accommodates quite a few vehicles since our site work subcontractor finished adding more fill and regraded the driveway four days ago! Nice!

These are the most recent photos available that show the lower kitchen cabinets while being installed!

And this is the design of our final layout! The countertops are Fantasy Brown Leathered Hard Marble; cabinet line is Fabuwood, style is Fusion for both doors and drawers, and color is Kona.

When we selected our countertops, we purchased one huge, single slab that they later cut for the countertops and back splash. When they cut up the slab, they made sure that the back splash was cut in line with each piece of countertop to the pattern/grain matched between the two! This is what our contractor referred to as “waterfall” of the grain! The following photos are examples of the large slab we ordered. These examples are also our countertop style: Fantasy Brown Leathered Hard Marble:
