This was at our favorite local breakfast restaurant! So cute! 










The star on the tree has been enjoyed by five generations now! My Hubby’s grandparents, his parents, my Hubby, our son and now our grandchildren!

      We had a ball! The kids and grandkids slept over so Santa came here instead! It was awesome!

Catching Up: Wildlife

We have a couple of game cameras down at the bottom of the field. We totally enjoyed the wildlife that these cameras captured!  This cutie has been around since the fall after we cleared the field out back and got the grass growing! We call her Nibbles, as she loves nibbling on the grass!  I can always tell it’s Nibbles when I see the dark spot on her inner right rear leg!  We had so many deer during the winter rut season!  Meet Big Sexy! The coolest buck around! After he shed his large antler at the end of the rut, Hubby found it! So cool! When you find sheds in the woods you don’t know the deer they came from. First time we actually know the deer that it came from! How cool is that.  Here’s his antler! If we could find his short antler, the package would be complete! Updates!

Can’t believe it has been nearly one month since my last blog! It has been so busy since we moved in! But so much has been accomplished since we moved in; but still a ways to go! Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos of the progress and I cannot recall every single project we have completed as there have been so many projects! But I’ll do my best to provide as many updates as possible! There have been some nights, mostly work nights during the week, that I kept going until 2 or 3 am because I was just in the mood to keep going to get work done!  In fact, the night before last I worked on projects until 5 am and took a nap until around 7 am and got up for work! That night I unboxed about 5 more boxes of kitchen items and put everything away! I installed two more mini blinds in the two downstairs bedrooms. I installed curtain rods and my bear valances on every window in the house (11 windows)! What a difference it makes! Feels so much more like home! I still need to install the las...

Marble Kitchen Counters Being Installed Today!

Update from our contractor just now! They did a beautiful job!!!!  He stated, “Some of the nicest fabrication/installation I’ve ever had on a project! They don’t always “waterfall” the grain on the backsplash to the tops. It’s the sign of good craftsmanship, and they did a superb job!” I made photos from the video too!  The dishwasher will be to the left of the sink: The liquid propane gas stove will be inserted here:  The dishwasher will be installed to the left of the sink: Our dishwasher has already been purchased and will be delivered after the flooring in the kitchen is done!  The finish is still pending on the exterior side of the island:  The liquid propane gas stove will be inserted in the opening to the right.
