Journey Back to New Hampshire!

My daughter-in-law stopped by and took a few photos of our flooring installation progress! I just love these floors! Gorgeous!  Looks like the electrical wiring for the generator has been installed by the electrician too! The gas line was previously installed by the plumber! Yay! 

The flooring company was there today to start installing the floors! So exciting! I can’t wait to see it when it’s all done! Might be done by the end of the week! If not, most of it will be complete by then with a little to go early next week, unless they work on it over the weekend!  They left their trailer for the night:  This is what we selected for flooring:  Example of what it will look like:  Link to website. I think Ozzy (left) and Pemi (right) love this house! They seem to be admiring it here in this photo! LOL!  We’re getting so close—about 95% of the electrical work is complete, with just the generator hookup left. The closet lights are motion-sensor activated (they turn on when you open the door and shut off automatically), and all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers are soft-close! The under-cabinet accent lighting in the kitchen looks amazing—such a beautiful touch! The stair posts between the first and second floors are in, and this week flooring installation begins. As rooms are finished, baseboards will be added, the stairs will be completed with finished wood, and the interior railings will be installed. The deck posts and railings for both the deck and farmer’s porch are also going in, as well as the stairs on the farmers porch by the driveway.  We meet with our closing attorney this Wednesday to finalize paperwork, with closing to be scheduled for either Ju...
