Journey Back to New Hampshire!

The house is all set for the snow that’s coming Thanksgiving Day! The doors have been covered up and our contractor moved everything out of the way for plowing the driveway. We have plowing all arranged in order to keep the area open! The deck was also started today! Can’t wait to be able to walk up there to enjoy our view from the best spot on our property! So exciting!  On Monday we went up to Concord, New Hampshire to pick out our two full bathrooms on the first and second floors. We’re going with what is called Utile Max for the shower units. There’s a backing that goes on the walls on all 3 sides that looks like tile. It will be easy to install, and much easier than real tiling to keep clean and maintain. We already received our quotes and were very pleased!  This is what we picked for our downstairs bathroom. We decided to go with a 60” x 32” tub with shower unit. Hubby was off from work yesterday and went up to New Hampshire to meet with a representative from the propane gas company. He took lots of photos of the house! The plumbing and electrical has progressed well! The gas lines are also nearly installed for the gas stove, gas clothes dryer, generator and monitor heater for the basement. And the farmers porch roof is underway!  Water and gas lines (black piping)! Our plumber does nice, neat work too! So does our electrician!  Our bathroom fans/lights!  Main door, which will be on the farmers porch, basement door and sliding glass doors, which will be in the main area of the house to the rear, open deck.  Window framing ready to go!  Closet framed in on the second floor loft area; master bedroom.  Second floor bathroom ceiling fan and light in progress!  Linen closet and shower area second floor.  First floor bathroom.  Wiring for ceiling lighting!  Mountain view!
