Another Foundation Update!

The rest of the concrete portion of the foundation is done! Turns out they were able to pour the concrete on Tuesday instead of Friday (today)! The forms are down, the waterproof coating applied, and they already started back filling! The pipe to the septic tank for a third bathroom in the basement is in place! The ground will essentially follow the upper line of the black waterproof coating! Lots more clean fill will be brought in! Our contractor will start building up the lower portions of the foundation with log walls next week, and then the entire thing will be capped! Not sure when the basement floor will be poured but likely before the basement is capped. It looks like they’re already working on filling it in to level it! There will be a five-foot wide double walk-out door plus a window facing the view! Plus, as you can see, two small foundation windows facing the road. Things are moving along so fast! So exciting! And the grass over the leak field of the septic system is growing in so fast! If you zoom in on photo number six, you can see it!
