Latest Updates!

Unpacking and getting settled in is coming along slowly but surely! We had two storage units and I was able to get the two combined into one! When my son called me while I was there working on it, as soon as he realized I went there to work on it, he insisted on coming by to help me out! So sweet! We banged it out in no time at all once he was there!

Back to the house for updates!

The large downstairs bedroom was fully packed with furniture and moving boxes when we first moved in! We couldn’t even get inside that room! Here it is now!

The latest photos of the rest of the house!

Stairs to the basement:

I have really cleaned up the basement! The spare wood, which was scattered throughout the basement, has been neatly stacked in one area. and then I was able to set up the couch and place the coffee table there. The TV is on the couch for now until I eventually locate my TV wall mount. I moved the extra refrigerator and freezer over to this area of the basement and they are now plugged in. We also moved our tool benches, tool boxes, and metal storage cabinet from storage!

I have gone through so many boxes! This area was packed with some smaller pieces of furniture, refrigerator, freezer, multiple boxes and plastic totes! What a difference!

Utility bathroom in basement has also had some updates! I added a little side table for my laundry supplies, vanity mirror, toilet paper dispenser and towel ring!

I added deck post solar lights to the deck area. Most of my deck furniture is here! I hope to be able to get the gas fire pit, table and chairs this week!

Deck post solar lights!

I added solar lights outside around the stairs and down along the farmers porch as well as the front of the house.

I moved my black bench and deck box outside the base egg window, underneath the deck.

All of the scrap lumber is gone from under the farmers porch! There were other piles of scrap wood in various areas around the yard and that is all gone, too! The only lumber that remains is good, usable lumber!

This was what it looked like before!

    1. TY, Sis!! It is do cute! We’re slowly getting there! Still many boxes left to go but at least now we’re to the point where we can take our time with it! It’s summer and I’d rather be out enjoying the weather and save the rest for the winter months!
