Updates From the Weekend!

Insulation is being installed and pine wall tongue and groove is also starting! The goal is to get the house insulated and to install the HVAC. Once the insulation is up, our contractor will focus on installing the tongue and groove pine boards on the walls that the HVAC units will be mounted to so the house can be heated! Within the next week or two our house will be fully heated! We do have heat in the basement with the new propane heater. The insulation down there is completed. They have started the insulation on the walls on the second floor in the master bedroom.

The deck boards have been installed now too! Hubby went up this weekend and I stayed home getting our house ready to put on the market. Hubby was not able to walk out on the deck yet since it snowed yesterday and the deck is snow covered. He could have shoveled the snow off of it but he decided not to go out there for the first time without me there. Next weekend we will be able to try out the deck for the first time together!

Propane heater in basement! Nice and warm down there right now! They have plastic to prevent the heat from going upstairs until the insulation is done up there.
